Forums - Sony - in-game "Voice chat" and "Video chat" are coming to PS3

Well I did not know since I do not own a PS3

Hmm fair enough. What if the accept button is X, and I just happen to be switching weapons at the time? =)

Both people have to be on the XMB (not in-game XMB), and not playing a game or playing online like in Warhawk or MGO and just talking to the room instead of 1 on 1 the way it is voice chatting on the XMB. Same thing with video, just not online.

they can chat in online games now with other people who are playing the same game,,,or they can chat in the PS3 main menu with their freinds,,,they just cannot chat with poeple in their friend list while both are playing different games
