Hello people. Like you read in the tltle, i bough it 3 days ago. I havent been a big fan of the turn-based RPG. I prefer the rpgs with more action like mass effect, the world ends with you, eternal sonata, but i wanted to play the game with one of the most interesting stories out there. I just have to say than is an awesome game. The story is great, the Kaims dreams and past, the stories than he remember, the combat is intense, the graphics are just under gears and cod4 (maybe at the same level of bioshock), it has one of the best intros in a videogame (if not the best in the games than i have played) the music in the is incredeble (the open theme, when you enter in unhra city is amazing).

I have played jus around 7 hours, but, you know, if there is a genre of games where im am not pretty good is the rpg (except maybe in a shoter like mass effect), so, 7 hour for me, could be 4 or 5 of a normal rpg player, i am in numera, just in the flowers scene, like you see, just in the begining, and i think the game have much more for impress me.

Who have play the game? whats your opinion about it? could you tell me a website with tips of something like that for help me with the game? because i told you, im not very good in this genre. I think than this game deserves a better reviews, is a game betwen 85 and 90. what do you think.

It's the best RPG I have played this gen so far.

I didn't finish the game yet, but past the first DVD, the game gets even better! I really like the skills system (a bit like Blue Dragon if I may say).

I also enjoy the little stories (dreams). Very philosophical, and you really need to have a good judgment to swallow everything being said in them. I might like them more than the main story actually...! O_o

My girlfriend is addicted to Lost Odyssey. I bought it for myself under the guise she could play it...I took my 360 over to her house to try it, and I haven't seen my 360 in 3 weeks. Shes on Disc 4, and she thinks it's one of the best games she's ever played.

This is the best JRPG this gen but IMO, it will have to be surpassed eventually. The dreams overall are better than the main plot which is nothing special at best. However, the story is more character driven anyway so character interaction is more important and that is where LO excels at. Kaim is one of the most memorable protagonists in a JRPG in quite a while. The battle system is very good for a turn based RPG. There are frame rate issues and loading times but the graphics in the game are top-notch which beautiful environments and a great art direction. The soundtrack is great and the VA is solid across the board. I haven't finished it yet but so far, I would give it an 8.5/10

for now its the best JRPG on 360 for me.

according to ign and most gaming sites, the best jrpg is folklore this gen! well jrpg's suck this gen so for this gen lost oddesy is good, but compared to last it is garbage.

although when you get to uhra sewers on disk 3 its ultra annoying. i cannot fathom why stick random encounters on bits where you are puzzle solving, good job you have the turn tails command availiable otherwise i would have torn my hair out.
