I personally think Halo 3 takes more skill.
-Less auto aim
-more varied weapons to master
-Sniping is so much harder
-Bigger kill to death ratio spread throughout the community.
-Noobs get raped

Halo 3. But they are a lot different in style, so it is somewhat hard to compare.
Halo 3. But Call of duty 4 has its own kinks one needs to master as well...
wtf are you all talkin about? COD4 takes more skill, easily. Halo 3 is a pick up and play game. When I first played COD4, it was so drastically different from COD3 that I got owned all the time for a while

What I do not care for in COD is the gameplay balance. The better a team does the more power is in their hands, ie. air strikes, drones, etc. This should not be. Everything should be equal at all times of the game. If a player gets five kills in a row, he does not need any more help to get more. Also, the longer a person plays the more weapon enhancements they get and the more skills they unlock. The idea of unlockable content is good but they should leave out things that alter the gameplay.
I'd say Halo 3 but to be fair, UT2004 so far takes the most skill to play on the PC.
