Hey I am not sure what this game is, but from the past monster hunt games video on youtube I saw it looks like a WOW type game. Am I right about that or way off?

Well you never know. I mean look at the PSP sales since the monster hunter game came out for it. This could have been the system seller that PS3 really needed in Japan.

They are exactly the same as the sales of the PSP before Moonster Hunter was released. PSP has averaged 60k units a week in Japan since the PSP Slim was released. Monster Hunter currently has little to no effect on the sales of the PSP.

Yeah, I really don't understand Japanese gamers so I guess you have a point. It might have been a some kind of system seller in Japan.

Monster Hunter has always been in my top 10 favorite games - it's going to make the transition into the US mainly because I'm going to throw the sales horribly askew by saving up my next 3 weeks of income and buying a few thousand copies.

I can't wait for this game to come out. I didn't know a thing about Monster Hunter before the announcement that they switched from PS3 to Wii, and the trailer looked awesome (even though it had no gameplay, the overworld and such looked great). Then I went and gathered as much information on previous version as I could, and I can't wait to play this!
