Question- why did the founder of THE WEATHER CHANNEL want to sue al gore?
Answer- for making up global warming.
How come 40 years ago people were talking about global cooling. They wanted to put soot on the ice caps to speed up melting. Dont believe me? Look it up. Global warming has one purpose, acquiring grant money for scientists/meteorologists who got their PH.D for weather. Without a problem their degree is shit. And CO2 from humans... dont get me started, humans account for .01% of the co2 in the atmosphere. Again don't believe me look it up.
The whole topic is ridiculous. And to the guy who said "why dispute whats fact" or w/e in like the second or third post. It isnt a proven fact, dont tell lies, it is a theory at best. Oh yea, the temperature of the Atlantic ocean is ... get this COOLING...
Do some research before you respond to me or i'll light you up again |
Doctors in the 40's used to endorse certain brands of cigarettes because they were better for you then their competitors. Science sometimes makes advances that turns previous science on its head.

I bet you were like "man i just owned him" when really you support my point. Think about it.

Get out of my head. ;) Actually, to rephrase: science is not like religious doctrine. It is possible for an old hypothesis to be proven incorrect without us throwing all climate science out the window because some people in the 60's talked about climate cooling.
EDIT: By "science is not like religious doctrine" , I mean that it is not set in stone in that the term "science" in this context is generally understood as being "scientific consensus." Scientific consensus can evolve and change over time even to the point of completely disproving former scientific consensus.
One cannot use a mistake in the past (the global cooling hypothesis) to disprove today's hypothesis of global climate change. For one, we have come a long way from a technological perspective. More importantly though, "the global cooling hypothesis" was NOT a scientific consensus. The Global climate change hypothesis IS a scientific consensus.
