Forums - Gaming - What Is Kingdom Hearts III Going To Be About?

Disclaimer: This is NOT about where Kingdom Hearts III will go, but rather what its story is.

Kingdom Hearts III's story has not been revealed yet. What could it be about.

KH1 covered the Heartless and what Kingdom Hearts is.

KH: CoM introduced Organization XIII and explains what happened to Mickey and Riku after KH1.

KH2 went into more depth with Nobodies and Organization XIII and much more was revealed in Ansem's reports.

KH: Coded will cover what happened to Mickey and Riku during KH1.

KH: BBS will explain the origins of Kingdom Hearts.

KH: 358/2 Days will explain Roxas in much more depth.

What is Kingdom Hearts III going to be about? Will there even be one since all of the questions will be answered or is there another mystery that we haven't encountered yet?

about something...

The Soul is one of the theories I had, but one of Ansem's reports sort of contradicts that.

Three key elements combine to make life: the Heart, the Body, and the Soul. Without the Soul the body and heart die .

This was paraphrased, but that was the general idea.

The Heart and Body need the Soul, but does the Soul need the Heart and Body?

Your mother.

Probably about the Soul. I expect Org XIII members to revive >_> Plus didn't Axel say one time in KH2 "See you in the enxt world"? I expect them to be reincarnated. They'll also introduce some new threat.

Yo wtf is your problem,mr bully you mess around with dtewii just because he is 12?

On the topic:

About Sora,Riku an Kairi.

Nomura pretty much permanently screwed up the series' cosmology with KH2 anyway, so he can do whatever he wants now and not have to worry about that making sense.

You can bet that there will be some kind of "Final Mix" of BBS, and probably 358/2 as well, included with the game. Square-Enix is 3-for-3 with this shameful practice, and I have no doubt that they'll continue it for these next two installments. They're probably already planning what to cut from BBS and 358/2 so that they can bilk people into buying it twice.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

How did he screw around with KH2?

All this talk about a game that doesn't exist but nothing about the 3 KH games that are in production.

I am baffled by that, especially given the fact that KH3 (If it even appears this gen) is years away...
