The best universe would have to be Marvel, DC seems to be a bit... I don't how to describe it. But the best character from both universes would have to be Batman. I'd love to see Batman make appearance in a Marvel movie, although that will probably not happen :(

yeah. Those two are horrible. The first, affects Peter as a hero. Now, he is like some villains, who will go to unspeakable lenghts to get what he believes to be right. The second one, was the most pathetic, ridiculous retcon I´ve ever seen.

Wow! Really? I could undertsand the first two. I too thought Avengers Disassembled was pretty lousy. I liked House of M but could completely understand if someone didn't. But Civil War?! That was Marvel at it's finest. Probably the best universe wide story anyone has ever told of the Marvel universe, Secret Wars included. Every time someone from each side tried to explain their position on superhero registration I kept switching my loyalties. Stark came out of it as flawed a character as ever.

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

Honestly, they should both Kill Off Every Character with the exception of the main characters, and reboot both companies. Too many Heroes and Villians. Too Many Mutants. Superman, Hulk, Thor, and the other Super Unrealistic ppl need to be powered down, as they are more akin to GODS than actual superheroes.

Yes, I know Thor Technically is a God, but seriously, how powerful must these people be to sell books?

My take:
Movies -Marvel (For now. Watchmen and Dark Knight are coming.....)
Cartoons -DC. No contest.
Video Games -Marvel. DC the last good DC game I played was Batman on the SNES.
Comics -DC. I love the DCU.
