Marvel Max, Vertigo, WildStorm, Ultimate, whatever.
If it falls under Marvel and DC's umbrella, then it's fair game.

@Mistershine, it's a matter of preference. Given a capable writer, Jimmy Olsen can take on Galactus. No point trying to convince anyone that their favorite hero/heroine isn't the best.
The age of apocalypse for the X-men was a High point too, The Onslaught saga was ok, The Phoenix saga was good, The cable and Bishop saga was perfect.
Hulk Future Imperfect was very good. Peter David is one of the best writers on comics books.
