Where has the announcement been that Wii SW > X360 SW again?

For one, Vgchartz data is largely unrealiable and is not considered an industry standard by...anyone.

As for the Wii selling more SW. Yeah, more Nintendo software, a third party comparison would yeild quite different results. Shovelware and casual games sell but decent, hardcore, third party games sell on the Xbox and PS3.

As for the Xbox achieving Ps2 dominance, they would actually have to sell something in Japan and Europe to do that.

microsoft will never be dominant in home console or handheld gaming history

Japanese products such as NINTENDO and SONY will always be above that lame company (m$) by a very large margin in gaming history

Japanese dominance forever over m$........hahahaha

Whoa, Wii has games now?

jepp apparently all the white Dvd cases at my house have a Wii game in it.

go figure I thought they were all empty and placed there by some unknown person.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Of course, the Wii sells or will eventually will sell more software. Their console lead is way too large. It would be strange if Wii does not sell more software in total.

I think for "hardcore" gamers or more specifically, gamers who like the big budget, high graphics games, the PS3 and X360 will not disappear.

For example, Call of Duty 5 will probably not come to the Wii. Or if it does, it will be a version that COD4 players would not want to buy, if they already have a PS3 or X360.

Those gamers will not buy an "inferior" version of the same game if they can help it.

All other 3rd Party Software sales are different genres and different games altogether, that appeal to a different demographic.

By "inferior", I mean in the gamer's opinion.

Um, Call of Duty 5 is already confirmed for the Wii. And the developers said that the Wii version will hold up to the PS3 and 360 version like no other game.

Case in Point Survey:

Are there any PS3 or X360 owners who will buy Wii Play if it is available (without a controller)?

Are you one of the Diomedes alt accounts created just to bash the site ?

The wii is selling more SW than the x360 worldwide, thats a fact... it's still a close race in America, however in terms of global sales Nintendo is far ahead weekly, it doesn't matter if you hate them or not.

Try to use CharTrack, MC, Famitsu, NPD, etc.

I suppose the question then would be:

If you have a PS3X360 (either or) and a Wii, which version will you get?

That is the most relevant question for the developer. That is, will the Wii sales cannibalize their HD console sales OR will it just increase or add to it?

I doubt if the Wii version of COD5 will be the same as the X360 or the PS3 version.

Otherwise, you're implying that the Wii has the same capabilities as the PS3 - which I don't think is true at all, in my humble opinion.
