I know a couple people who live in weird areas. Not out of town, quite close to normal suburbia, but for some reason Comcast doesn't service their neighborhood, and then DSL isn't available for some reason either, that might have changed this past year.

So they got satellite internet...there's really no excuse to have dial-up unless you don't want to pay for satellite. They paid like $50 a month for 2 mbps internet...you couldn't game on it though...too much latency.

dam, im paying 30 dollars for dsl, now i feel like im getting ripped off, well it's supposedly 3mbps download, 768 kbps upload, whats everybodys down/up ratio?

Mine is 1.5Mbps for download and 600Kbps for upload
