Excellent, for a franchise that is so niche.

VGChartz sales figures for the series is around 19.5 million sales so far. So that is not far off 22 million sales that is reported by Konami. Anyway software sales are hard to track. It says in the VGChartz sales charts software is incomplete.

I believe vgchartz has MGS1 undertracked - you must also count MGS2: Substance and MGS3: Subsistence, and then I believe it'll be about 22 million total.

I just played through MGS4 with my friends from Thursday at 9 pm to 12 am Saturday...it was great.

MSX games are not metal gear solid, just metal gear. But PSP one is metal gear solid too
