Looks like the game has pretty varied gameplay. I see some Yoshi's Island in there, as well as, dare I say, Sonic!
It looks fantastic! I love Nintendo's tributes to 2D platformers and this one seems promising and much fun!

There is very little in this world I hate more than people who don't think 2D games have a place in the retail market. Honestly I despise these people. Especially Wii owners who feel this way. Shame on you. You should know better.
