2D games were better, IMHO. Maybe because developers had to focus on the gameplay instead of graphics to make their games stand out from the rest.

some games should stay in 2D like Castlevania & sonic but i see 3D is better because u have more freedom.
Overall 2-D. I'd say yes, you've played them but you can't understand how cool those games were WHEN they came out. I think that Nintendo has made significant strides with the Wii though.

Sure. For when it came out, Space Invaders rocked my world. I don't think OOT is the greatest game of all time. I don't base my life around what a critic says I should like. Brawl is a 2D game isn't it?

No. Tekken is 3D. In Brawl you don't have true 3D freedom like Tekken or Virtua Fighter. I'm not complaining. I'm saying that in this case simpler is better.

I like them both equally, I grew up in the 2D era as well, so lots of nostalgia for me, but there are many 3D games that I love as well.
