Yeah, everything on the PSN seems to be running faster and smoother. Also have you tried the PSN store? It loads up all the icons a lot quicker now then it used to.

I won't blame Sony at all for this. I am an enterprise application developer and I know that when you roll out something that is going to be installed in millions of platforms at one time and when your change involves modification of the low level firmware logic, well testing can certainly be a nightmare. I am sure that Sony must be working round the clock right now to provide a solution. What about the guys out here? Did any experience problems?

Funny that no one would ever say something like this to Microsoft. To mess up and be commended for it...

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I've not had any problems with it.  Works great--just working on picking up some trophies.

PSN ID: Sorrow880

Gamertag: Sorrow80

Wii #: 8132 1076 3416 7450

works fine for me, still a ton of people downloading at once can cause errors in the install files downloaded. Probably some minor bugs.

It's going on what, 6 platforms, and all of them you have very tight control over?

It does not bother me much that they had to roll back, but to say it's anything other then poor work by Sony is just wrong.

Yeah PS Store Is way smoother and quicker. They added a change view button as well. also a delete all in the keyboard

I had the same issue since 2.36! heres what happened to me. I played MGS4,had some issues with MGO so I had to reboot my PS3. Upon rebooting my PS3 I received a message that said "Your filesystem is corrupt and needs to be restored."

Upon attempting to restore the filesystem the system would crash at 40%! This happened 3 times on my 250gb HDD. Then I put in the old 120gb HDD! It happened 2 more times on that HDD.

I then tried to boot up yet another 120gb HDD, which I acutally took from a computer that fell and displayed an error message (on the computer) which said my HDD was corrupted. Oddly enough, it was this HDD that worked.

I said it before in a post awhile ago, and ill say it again. The PS3 has a serious hardware issue, but I think they are covering it up. A bluetooth headset, network errors, GTAIV, firmware updates. THIS SHOULDN'T BE CAUSING SUCH HUGE SYSTEM FAILURES! If it wasn't for my persistence with my PS3 I would have sent out my PS3 in a $150 UPS box by now and been waiting on Sony to return it.

God knows I love my PS3, but there is something seriously wrong with the hardware somewhere in there.
