LBP wont reach 1M, if not EU sales will be massive. I bet my last money on Banjo.

"positive thinking" is a VERY nice way of putting it.

Sorry, I had to go to sleep, I don't spend all my time trying to refute every good news or semi-good news, or even news that slightly smells like it could be good of a competing console, typically I'm working, paying for my house or playing on my 360 or PS3 or Wii. Your idea that I'm a Sony Fanboy makes me chuckle. I haven't known too many Sony Fanboys that paid over 600 dollars on competing hardware. Or maybe you dont read signatures?

As for the post, oh well? I got my podcasts mixed up, if you have done any forum surfing around here besides the ones that look like they are somehow saying Sony is doing something right, or that the 360 is doing something wrong (which I highly doubt) you would have seen I listen to 10 gaming related podcasts (1up, Gamespot, Podcast Beyond, 3 Red Lights, Nintendo Voice Chat, Penny Arcade, Gaming Steve, Insomniacs Full Moon Show, Joystiq and Game Scoop) I thought I had remembered Giant Bombcast saying they were aprehensive about the new direction the game was taking, but I was mistaken, they only said what the game was before old and played out. So shoot me.

I do know that I have heard from at least a couple of the podcasts I listen to, people that have had hands on time with the game, that they don't think this is the correct direction for the game to go in, and that all this vehicle creation could have easily been its own game, and not them trying to pigeon hole Banjo into it. You can not tell me that there isnt as much negative critism for Nuts and Bolts as there is good for it. The game is running hot and cold with the critics.

Because I have taken time out of my resting (just painted the front room of my house, I never thought a 15 foot by 16 foot room would take so much energy out of me) to listen to the damned podcast to make sure I was right or wrong, I think you should acknowledge that what I said was an error. Not a misrepresentation of the facts.

Now for LittleBigPlanet, I have personally yet to see anything negative about the game. (again, thats personally, Im not God and I cant see the whole Net at once, if there is some, I'll gladly read it) Sony is already starting to advertise it Nationally in America and I think Europe too, and it has been gaining "Mind Share" since what? E3 06? Im not sure when it was announced, so dont blast me if Im wrong, but there has been videos, pictures, trailors, previews and contests for it. Banjo just had its first pictures revealed 2 months ago?

You really think that Nuts and Bolts is going to outsell LPB?

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

This space Reserved for the Nuggets of Wisdom dropped by Bladeforce:

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

I'm gonna have to go with LBP, since of the positive Hype. Many people are not very intrigued by Banjo-kazooie, and don't like the idea of the veichle aspect.

LBP- 2 million
Banjo- 1.5 million

PSN- williwod

i think little big planet wont even sell a million, if it does thats great but does it really appeal to most ps3 owners? really?... btw i ownd a n64, and luvd banjo, now i own a ps3, scince i ownd a ps2, but i hope sony buys rare, and if rare made another conker game that would be the BEST!

Respect for compans: SONY > NINTENDO >>>>>>>>>> MICROSOFT

I think Little Big Planet will sell more.

At the moment i'm looking foward to Banjo more though...

Little Big Planet not having proper enemies makes it pointless to me. That was the main problem other 2-D stage editors had... making effective villians without complicated AI work was tough.

As it is now the only thing new it offers me is the online features.  Which... when i make games and stages it's to play myself and to watch peoples reactions as they play said games.

Online defeats the purpose.

I'd have to go with LBP. It's been getting really good press and if Sony markets the hell out it or bundles it, like they should, it will do over 2 million easy.

Banjo looks alright but I expect it to do about as good as Viva Pinata, at about 1 million.

I think Banjo will do lower numbers due to Microsofts userbase. Also, it has more to live up to, and will likely be reveiwed more harshly, by reveiwers/fans of the originals who don't like their Mario 64 cloned platformer turned into a built your own vehicle thing (even if it is good).

Then again, if Microsoft does a casual bundle to combat Nintendo, packed with Banjo at sub $250, this game could push higher numbers.
