Just downloaded it. While this is obviously not the complete package, it;s a giant, and I do mean giant step in the right direction. Hopefully Sony will quickly add functionality like voice chat and such to the in-game menu.



Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

Pretty sure SSHD doesn't have a Platinum trophy.

Been trying to download it all evening since got back from work, first my internet connection sucked, so failed after every attempt, (never got past 5 %), Now for some unknown reason, my Playstation thinks it's up to date (checked System Information and it says 2.36) and lets me sign into PSN and everything, I can't even download it, anyone know if there's and issue with the UK servers or something?

If not, I'm gonna have to download it at work and find a way to transfer it over (apparently a USB pen drive isn't a storage media it recognises).

Fun evening.

the ps3 xmb snaps up str8 away when u press ps button, but on the 360 its slow and clunky

Cry.
I downloaded the update during lunch time and then tried to buy Stardust HD.
I had never bought anything on PSN before so I had to enter credit card information and the stupid thing was broken.........
Kept telling me information was invalid when I reentered it like 10 times and double checked each time and even tried 2 different cards..........



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Ok, I downloaded the update, booted up PAIN, it went through all the updating, etc...

I earned some Trophies, went into the XMB... nothing shows. All I get is "There are no trophies".

So I went, deleted my old save game, made a new one, earned 5 of the Trophies again and still.... nothing shows.

The game has Trophies that seem to only show in your trophy list within the game?

What's up?

Just went to official UK website to download the update from there but is says:

"Not Found

The requested URL /update/ps3/image/uk/2008_0702_96e9def601672c5abcbb4604bb2346f1/PS3UPDAT.PUP was not found on this server."

...looking good. :P :D

Apparently you have to compare trophies with friends before it registers.
