I hope not. it had 400k, I think that's a low first week, compare to other regions.

Alright, that's it. What other games are you talking about. Spill em. Let's hear it. What games in Others make Brawl's launch look like crap, lets hear it.
Others:
Super Mario Galaxy week 1: 129k
Wii Fit Week 1: 600k
Mario Kart Wii Week 1: 550k
MGS4 Week 1: 469k
Brawl Week 1: 400k
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue week 1: 384k
Twilight Princess week 1: 236k
Mario Kart is a racing game and is bigger than Brawl in Others.
It also nearly matched its first week numbers in week 2.
MGS4 didn't even come close though.
We're getting reports that Brawl is sold out in this very thread, in some places in europe.
I defy anyone to tel me these numbers are much lower than expected, or much lower than "most games."
I literally cannot believe that no one but me has busted everyone out on this whole site that has even mentioned it. It is literally the most insubstantial and poorly calculated misconception ever formed into an argument. How long have people been watching these numbers?
Is there anyone who can give me a good reason why I shouldn't be upset about this faux and rediculious expectation that people had for week 1 others sales of freakin' Smash Brothers Brawl?
Do you simply not know that these numbers are about right?
Did you expect somehow that things would change just for this game, when they haven't for any other game?
A. Others means legs, determined by userbase. PS3 has a relatively small userbase and MGS4 is a rather hardcore game. It's an exception, not a rule. Brawl will have better legs.
B. Others, historically loves racing games, Brawl not so much. Expect sales of racing games(Kart Wii) to surpass sales of non-racing games(Brawl).
I'm sorry if this post seems hostile, but there is just no way that this information can reach all of the people who pretend like these numbers are some kind of bad thing for Nintendo.
In fact, it seems like most of this site really does know very little about videogame sales, in general, from reading most of your posts regarding this.
It's like group think got you to believing these sales were bad.
This is a foeboy talking point, backed up by a few Wii owners who don't really follow launch numbers in others very much, apparently.
Why!?
Why!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
WTF, WHY!!!!!!!!!!?
