Does the shadow really bother people? I dont even notice things like that when im playing much less care about them, I do however notice real shadows that clip on objects akwardly like they do in a lot of games.

Aside from the DS and perhaps the PSP, we're technologically beyond the era of bland circular shadows.  There's no excuse for it anymore.  The Wii has some susbstantial power under it's hood that developers are refusing to use.

However, I'm thinking that Sonic Unleashed may end up suffering with circular shadows on the Wii just to maintain the framerate.  I don't recall, off-hand, how the shadows looked in Sonic and the Secret Rings.

Secret Rings was pretty good wasn't it? I loved it! Was there anyone else who really really liked it? I hope this one is good too.

I loved Secret Rings up to a point.  That point came about halfway through the game when the awful controls became painfully apparent and the game became impossible to play.  Had they dropped the dreadful mini-game multi-player fiasco and refocused efforts on smoother, more forgivinig controls, it would've been a helluva lot better.  There's just no denying the sheer awesomeness of blazing along with Sonic on the backs of those giant flying manta rays with the ruins on their backs--but at the same time, there's no getting past the needlessly clumbsy controls.  Walking backwards shouldn't be a hassle!  Also, the medals were too damn hard to earn.

I will never understand how Sonic team can consistantly deliver hits when it comes to GBA/DS Sonic titles and continually fail so completely at new 3-D titles for consoles.

The handheld titles are done by Dimps, the ones who're developing the Wii version of Unleashed.

I knew that too, but do you think it means that the Wii version might be better than the PS360 version?

@Resident_Hazard: Walking backwards was kinda hard. They should've just let you turn around by pressing B or something. but as for the turning, ect. you had to unlock better controls.

Does anyone else think that the Wii model looks more kick-ass-hardcore-sonic, and that the PS360 model looks like more of a kiddy, "cute" sonic? It looks more "kiddy" than the cover of Mario & Sonic Go At The Olympic Games:

It looks like the same model, IMO, or a modified version of it at least.

And I like the Navy Blue Sonic more than the Baby Blue one.

Sonic's regular color isn't baby blue. It's (regular) Sega Blue.

Anyway, I've been liking the navy Blue lately too (especially in Brawl).

I think it's because it reminds me of the good ol' days when sonic wasn't practically allergic to water, and could actually hold his breath for a litle while...(before getting 3... 2... 1... 0...DEATH)
