Guitar Hero Metallica won't release until next Spring and will likely be made for World Tour and will therefore be far more superior to this release because it will include all instruments and voice.

The other thing you must consider is that Joe Perry is very riff heavy and IGN even stated that this caused the game to be much easier than they would have liked which caused the lower score. That won't be the case for Metallica, Hammond is basically a guitar God by comparison and hardly any of that release should be riffs on Expert settings. The thing I am worried about most in the Metallica release is having to play 5 minute solos and nearly 10 minute songs constantly.

Still, though 7.6 is a decent score, I don't know how anyone can like one band so much. I mean, I really like Aerosmith, but come on. The only one of these I would even consider buying would be a Guitar Hero: Led Zeppelin.

im really dissapointed that they didnt make this an expantion.... i mean GH3 LEGENDS OF ROCK? it would seem logical to me....

I just got my copy from Gamefly today and beat it on hard and expert in less than four hours and only failed Walk this Way once because my son started crying in the middle of it. The difficulty is sub-par at best. In fact Hard seemed more like Medium with orange in it also there was maybe 5 chords that used three notes through out the entire difficulty setting. Expert was a little better but still extremely easy for a Guitar Hero vet.

This makes me worry a little bit because in an interview about Guitar Hero 4 the director said that they balanced difficulty issues they recieved complaints about. I imagine they were reffering to the jump from medium to hard. If Aerosmith is any indication of how they fixed this then they need to work on it some more because now it's too easy. Maybe they need to add a difficulty level like Legend because if 4 turns out as easy as this title I'm going to be pissed.

Hey i love aerosmith

It's Aerosmith... 'nuff said. You can't actually admit to liking Aerosmith if you wanna maintain your rep.

Aerosmith are hardly the greatest band of all time but they absolutely rip most modern music to pieces. Songs like Janies Got A Gun and Walk This Way are classic rock and if you think liking Aerosmith wrecks your reputation then you have rubbish taste in music.
