Forums - Gaming - Disappointed in NCAA Football '09 demo

Anyone else dissapointed with this demo?  I downloaded it off of PSN hoping to be blown away and the graphics didn't look anybetter than the ps2 versions, the crowd looked like a bunch of cardboard cut outs, and this is the second version on the ps3?  and third if you count the year extra on the 360?  besides the fact that it is only 2 minute quarters (which isn't nearly long enough) you get 5 different formations and 4 plays per formation, most of which are the same.  I know EA are a bunch of bums but NCAA was actually good (a hell of a lot better than Madden) and it doesn't look any different now from the ps2 itterations.

i felt the gameplay was horribly unbalenced.. or maybe they are just ohio fans

come play minecraft @  mcg.hansrotech.com

minecraft name: hansrotec

XBL name: Goddog

I thought the demo was ok, but I'm not a really big fan of the NCAA Football series.

I like college football more than pro football (but I love them both, just more teams/diversity in college and virutally everyone has a hometown team they can root for) and so I alway got NCAA every other year or so and this looks almost exactly like my last NCAA purchase of the 07 game. And I believe that the reason they have Ohio St and LSU is because they were in the National Championship game. If it feels unbalanced it is because Ohio St didn't deserve to be there, there were better teams that could have been put in but because the Big 10 is such a weak conference they had a good schedule and a better record than they deserved.

What he said.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
