Forums - Sales - Which console will have the most million sellers?

ok, so I decided to make a quick list of every wii game that is already release that imo will make 1 million in sales, but has not yet. (not in any order)

  1. Ben10: PoE
  2. Naruto: CotN
  3. Star Wars: TFU
  4. Big Beach Sports
  5. Cooking Mama
  6. Madden 2008
  7. House of Dead 2&3
  8. DDR: TP (already, but missing others data)
  9. Endless Ocean
  10. Sega SuperStars Tennis
  11. Dragon Quest Swords (a maybe on this one)
  12. RRR: TV Party
  13. Mario Super Sluggers
  14. Sonic Riders (better chance than u think, undertracked in others I think)
  15. Boom Blox (19.99 pricetag and it will zoom by it)
  16. Super Monkey Ball (already is, missing others data)
  17. Excite Truck (missing others data and still selling a bit)
  18. Tiger 09
  19. Walle (it is a good game, especially for a movie game, legs will be excellent)
  20. Lego Batman
  21. Shaun White
  22. DeBlob
  23. Madden 09
  24. Guiness World Records
  25. HSM: 3
  26. Sonic Unleased
  27. MySims: Kindoms
  28. Outdoor Life (sales are seperated right now for some reason, it will make it)
  29. Sports Party (sales are seperated too)
  30. CoD: WaW
  31. Game Party 2
  32. Carnival Games Minigolf
  33. NerfNStrike
  34. Disney Sing it
  35. DDR HP2
  36. Ben 10 Alien Force
  37. All Cheer Squad
  38. Hanna Montana: World Spotlight Tour

All of those game list I would personal give a 75% chance or better. Okay here are some long shots (under 50% or so)

  1. FE: RD
  2. Samba De Amigo
  3. Monopoly
  4. Star Wars Lightsaber Duels
  5. GH AreoSmith
  6. FiFa 08
  7. FiFa 09
  8. Tiger 08
  9. Namco Museum Remix (550k on NA data only)
  10. Wario Shake It (it really just need a price drop)
  11. Boogie SuperStar
  12. WWE 2008

Well... that all for now... if they ALL make it, and imo they all have a shot.... that is 50 more million sellers, many of these will make it in 09, some may take even longer (like Monopoly or Samba De Amigo)



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I say Wii wins in the end with 360 and ps3 close for 2nd.



Damn things have changed since 2009 began. Here are my new visions for the end of the generation.

 

Wii: 135 mil

Ps3: 85 mil

360: 60 mil

dude of course the wii it will be 50 million userbase soon and tons of 3rd party support will follow and it will be easy for wii to sell millions.

 that is a good list, none of them seem to be longshot, I keep my real long shots seperate.... I guess I could seperate the 100% titles away from the 50-75s...

I stay away from counting the unreased but the ones you name seem good for the most part.

Thanks, the Wii will obviously overtake at some point but I think its going to be an exciting race to 100 million sellers.

You're correct on SO4, I'm going to keep it in atm anyway. IF Alan Wake is a great game you know Microsoft are going to advertise the shit out of it. IF it is a good game its a lock for 1 million.

Here is a list of recent million or very soon to be a million sellers for the Wii makes your estimate seem conservative. If Big Beach Sports has a chance, any game has a chance.
