I'm a massive NiGHTS fan and the new one is, as already noted, pretty lousy (It was clearly rushed to make a release date.)

Your best bet is to simply wait to get it for ten bucks or during TRU's yearly buy 2-get-1-free deal (assuming you can't find a better game to get for free) or pick it up as cheap as possible used.
