Whhhaaaa??

Ive also played both, and found Forza to be amazingly arcadey while GT5 P to feel exactly how it feels to drive a car like that (which I have done) Even to the point of slamming on the breaks in the car causes it to loose tracting and shimmy and jump as the tires make contact and break traction and make contact again. Even more so, damage models will be put into GT5 P and come with GT5 so even that is there too.

Way to be a tool.

Anyways, OT: GT5 is going to have as many tracks and look as good if not better then Forza and it will literally blow Forzas car selection out of the water, oh and its all going ot be on one disc.

And just to say, every game takes its tracks and counts the front and back as individual tracks. If Forza says it has 100 tracks then it only has around 50, and is counting eacn forward and backwards rotation as its own track, all the racing games do this.

Source?

I think overall GT5 will be better

Gran Turismo 4
Number of Cars: 721
Number of Tracks: 51

I'd like to think Gran Turismo 5 will have more content than 4, so you could say that 5 will have atleast 700 cars and 50 tracks.

Then again, I could be completely wrong.

Forza 2
Number of Cars: 300
Number of Tracks: 14

Forza 3 is said to be on two DL DVDs, so 18GB vs. 50GB, if you do the math, chances are not only with GT5 have the room for more content, but also higher quality textures and graphics.

There are rumored to be 900+ cars and include "all" manufacturers. I also hope that we'll get at least 100 tracks (including reverse and stuff) but we have no info right now.

Since when is Forza even popular? It got a lot of its sales from bundles. Of course GT5 will be a better game, and sell better. No contest.

Fullfilled Prophecies

Most people I know who actually race cars in real life, whether they are weekend racers or drive in SCCA and what not, all tend to agree that Forze was the better simulator. The physics was always mentioned with regards to Forza being a more realistic simulator too. I can't speak first hand to that affect, but I absolutely LOVE both games, and have been enjoying GT5:P for the past couple months, and Forza 2 for even longer. People should just realize that both games are an amazing experience, and stop arguing about which one is superior, because they always proclaim the superior one to be the driving sim that is on the particular console they own, if they only own one. Most people I know who own both consoles (such as myself), prefer Forza (although I prefer Gran Turismo).

Currently Playing:

PS4 - Killzone:SF and Assasins Creed 4

XBox One: BF4, CoD:Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5

Changing channels with my voice: priceless!!!

Source? Or are we to take your word for it?

He won't have a source as those are his friends....I know a couple of modders and racers that would disagree with his friends. One of them don't even play videogames save for racing games and he'll sell his 360 with Forza and Marvel UA2 the day GT5 comes out. My other friend plays other games and already has a PS3 as well as a 360 he says he plays Forza now to get his virtual sim until GT5 comes out.

Honestly I have never talked to someone in real life that's even remotely interested in cars that don't prefer GT over Forza. I actually think Forza has better customization and of course better damage model, physics handling though GT is better IMO. What makes GT maybe seems like it's a sim is because of the lack of damage and so because of that we get the infamous bumper cars.

I'm praying and hoping that Kaz will give us something special, I don't want these sucky ass damages where I can pretty much total my car and keep driving. Ideally GT5 would have 3 damage options 1- Noobs = those damages you see in most racers today, 2. Semi realistic = keep it still fun as in I can break bumpers and mess up headlights and keep driving, but if I hit a rail at 80mph or if my transmission breaks, then it's over and 3. Realistic = if I make one mistake, even if it's on lap 50, that means it's over. If I hit a rail at 40 MPH, tough luck, it's game over.

I remember them saying they were thinking about taking the car away from the garage after a crash....
