Going by the only Gears2 footage its looking pretty ordinary too.  And looks worse then R2.

In the recent EGM, they did a full spread on GoW2, and they quoted CliffyB as saying they are fixing pretty much all those gripes (like the ones you listed, and then some) people had with MP in number 2.  

I never really liked Resistence...the single player wasn't that bad, but that probably had more to do with the fact it was the only decent game on the PS3 at launch, and probably just seemed like it was better than it actually was when comparing it to the other games available.  The multiplayer wasn't anything special, and I personally didn't like it.  It was just way to hectic and for the brief period of time I played it, it seems like the only strategy you can have is run and gun till you die, over and over again.  Also you can spawn and get killed almost instantly over and over again if you have bad luck.  I don't know if it is just me, but Resisitence multiplayer was no fun at all, and the single player was alright, but nothing special, shining a little bit more than it would have if there weren't so many crappy games out at launch.

Funny how you say that. I posted the most up to date and recent gaming footage of R2. I'm not into posting any older ones. I always post up to date. Sorry if you dont like that.

Selnor, you need a flogging stick to fight them off. HAHA !!! Next time you need to check with them on what video you post, because you need to hand pick the video that makes the game look the best. God forbid you play the most recent video, that just happens to not be the most flattering one?!?!?1

They are complaining about a video of the game that doesn't "show anything off"?!?! The recent videos I have seen of R2 on gametrailers don't look all that impressive in the visuals department...not saying the game looks bad, but it isn't groundbreaking by any stretch of the imagination when it comes to the graphics. Now GoW2 looks absolutely stunning (the original game is still one of the best looking games available on console in my opinoin), especially the number of enemies on screen at the same time, and how vast that new level they were showing off was when you are traveling on that large carrier. Visuals were improved upon, and the size of the actual levels and number of enemies have more than doubled, if not tripled. That is a feat in and of itself.

I also own both a PS3 and 360...just want to throw that out there before I get labeled a "fanboy" by a fanboy...life is so ironic.

There are two others from the exact same time and day. They are on the same page. You obviously watched them and chose the most boring one. It all seems rather coincidental.

I like Resistance more, having now played Gears on a friend's Xbox, but Gears was the first great game on the 360, too. Gears also was the best looking game at the time, so it was easy to impress people. Resistance wasn't the only game that was a gem among trash.
