Forums - Sales - Wii still sold out

You can't say the Soviets pushed the Germans back on their own any more than you can say that the Cold alone killed the German's offense. Combine those two, however, with a poor German supply line (poorly maintained and problems with cold), and the "those who flee are shot on sight" mentality for the Russians, those reasons combined are about 95% of the scenario that contributed to the Russian's successfully pushing back.

But will the Russian and German soldiers be deterred by the 384% sales tax in estonia and stop buying the Wii? There, I've brought it back around again.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Sorry for OT... I actuly think that the big undershippment to EU is the biggest problem for Nintendo, I do think that they are losing potentional customors that doesn't want to wait. They might chose another system or just skip buying a consoll.

hehe I meant that demand >> supply. Didn't mean that they didn't do their best, but when it is like 2-3 months of delivery time if you prebook now, they aren't delivering enough units But then again how many GC did we buy? 2 millions? more? I mean USA bought 14 or something, Japan 4 totaly 20 million sold leaves 2 million in EU. (damn that means that we have bought almost half of the LTD compared to the GC)

Well, minus a few select retail locations, demand > supply everywhere in the world for the Wii, although it seems it's slowing down first in the U.S. I just thought, you know what'd be funny? If Nintendo shipped enough consoles to Europe to match the PS3's launch numbers there and the Wii were the only one to sell out. I doubt that'd ever happen, but it'd be funny none-the-less. :)

yes I know, but it feels like we in europe gets less units than Japan and USA

well... not trying to be mean or anything... BUT YOU DO GET LESS. Save some extra money and buy a PS3. It looks fine on SDTV as well.

I fly this flag in victory!

Sorry, but my gaming budget for the whole year is probably going to be a bit less than the cost of a new PS3. :p

hehehe, well the problem is my main intresst in gaming is: 1, Turn based strategy aka Civ 2, plattform: I don't own snes nor N64 so their exist some nice plattform games on VC that I really want. Plus so far 4 new plattforms coming up to Wii (of course none realesed yet) 3, run and gun 2D, metal slug... 4, Arcade style sport (I do LOVE, and I mean love, Super Mario Strikers (which is called something else in Sweden) If you can find some nice plattforms or something else on the PS3 let me know. (I don't check up the PS3 so often so I don't know). But vanguardian1 did say something true. My entire gaming bugett will probarbly be lower than the cost of a new PS3 this year I am not as hardcore as you I do think I need to buy a DS soon...NSMB!!!
