Not to be a complete dick, but in regards to most video game journalists; if they actually had creative or technical talent in addition to a genuine care about video games, they'd be in the business of developing games rather than just being paid to give their opinions on games.

Bioshock/SMG/GTA4 : 9/10     -    I agree with this,  the games deserves a score between 9-10.

Gears of War/CoD4/PGR4/AssassinCreed : 8/10  - 

GEOW I agree with it,  the singleplayer was quite short and not that kind of special...  Some moments were just boring and then I am looking especially at the vehicle level.;..And if you have no internet you could feel very dissapointed..  GEOW 2 singelplayer looks more promising..

COD4 well that's for me a 9-10 game....The singleplayer is maybe also short but a lot better than GEOW's singelplayer....It is just perfect....

PGR4...Can't argue about that because I am not into racing;.

AC.  Would get a 7 from me.....The singleplayer got boring after just some hours but if that was the only problem it would got a 8 from me....but there are a lot of isseus that probably could be solved if they worked longer on it and didn't rushed it out...


Halo3/Unchartred/NG2 : 7/10)


Halo 3 deserves a 8-9 score though... 

Uncharted same as Halo 3 -   Deserves a 8-9 score..

NG2 - Can't discuss about that, didn't have played it yet..

WTF people
8 - GOOD game, i REPEAT GOOD.
8-9 - a game between GOOD and GREAT.
9 - GREAT game.
9-10 - a game between GREAT and MASTERPIECE.
10 - MASTERPIECE.

You COMPLAINING, that at WORST case MGS4 is a GOOD game? =)))
Come on people ENJOY the game, FORGET the scores, GR and Mc SCORES matter only to FANBOYS.
Moreover, it`s just an OPINION. Some people think, that MGS4 is GOOD and MANY, that MGS4 is GREAT or even a MASTERPIECE.
What the PROBLEM here?

PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far
