I think that The Conduit actually looks pretty terrible. Fatal Frame, on the other hand, looks like it could turn out to be a pretty good game.

Well, I don't think it looks terrible but for all of the hype and people (including them) saying how third parties never concentrate on great graphics and how awesome their engines are, I expected a better looking game but... Didn't they say they wanted it to look like a 360 title?
