I can tell you PS3's are sold out in Southern Cal (LA/Orange County) and Northern Cal (SF Bay Area) Walmart stores.

Americans can't afford to pay for the petrol to go to the shops confirmed.

Maybe video games aren't as recession proof as the analysts thought? I'd figure a downturn in the industry would affect the most expensive console first and later spread to the others as people tighten their belts and discretionary spending was eaten away by the necessities(food, gas,..both of which continue to rise weekly.)
Someone please set me straight with some numbers, because, frankly, I'm worried. The economic numbers that come in are pretty much always bad.

I would assume that the PS3 tracking for Walmart is as good as the Wii Fit tracking. Wii Fit if you recall had a major promotion at Walmart for Mother's Day where it was on the home page.

 San Francisco Bay Area is considered NorCal.  I lived there half my life.  What have you been smoking?  Don't correct people when you don't know what you're talking about.

That got partly cut off the line is this weeks PS3 sales...

 I don't see how, with the Walmart sale, PS3 sales data did not really change from last week.  This site ought to investigate to make sure its data is accurate.  That's all I'm saying.

Its the calm before the storm... MGS4 week will probably be epic for PS3. It still won't pass Wii sales though... but it may get kinda close and will certainlty outsell 360 that week in all regions.
