I remember thiniking a few weeks ago, "Wasn't the Last Remnant originally supposed to come out this month [i.e. May]?"

Obviously that didn't happen, but for some reason I recall hearing it being set for May '08 sometime back in '07.

Nope, The Last Remnant was always set for 2008, though it never had a specific month. I think it was originally slated for Summer or Fall. A shift to 2009 would be a definite delay.
