I still prefer the original on N64. I missed out on the Gamecube one and the Wii version seemed like the N64 one + a ton of useless extra characters, which is really good, but not exactly an advancement.

it also equals +online+more levels+level creator+subspace emissary

yeah i also forgot about that,thats a great addition to the game

Oh god, great addition? I seriously found it very boring. It was like work without a reward. I haven't tried online, but I hear it's near unplayable. More levels, but they are all pretty similar to N64 ones and the ones that try to be different (moving backgrounds and such) don't add much to the game. I haven't tried level creator, so I'll have to take your word on that one.

not even close. This game is a camp fest. You can't even do combos or punish. Other fighting games have far better, move advanced gameplay. The online is what carries it.

SSBB isn't the best because it doesn't have a completely balanced roster of fighters, which is more important in a fighting game then any game mode or mechanic.

EDIT: I still can't wait to play it though. (My assumption about the roster list is from what's been said on the internet and from Melee and the original, because they didn't have a balanced roster either).

^i think the roster is good,it has its balances,but ofcourse not perfect balance

brawl is rather unbalanced. A character like metaknight makes damn near half the cast unplayable.

@Calamity

Brawl's roster is most likely 2nd in terms of the most balanced roster for the Smash series. I dunno, 64 had a pretty balanced roster, but Brawl's roster takes the delicious cake when compared to Melee.
