E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

He's repeatedly, explicitly and recently stated that he prefers the Xbox 360 console.

That doesn't mean he couldn't change his tune, of course. If Sony gave him millions of dollars, I'm sure he'd make it very clear that the Playstation 3 is the best system, after all.

Not the Wii, though. That's basically the only place I can't see him heading, in terms of platform direction.

And it would probably doesn't cost him anything Sony and MS would give him one to get his support exclusive.

Thats bad then why his resigning was discussed in Ninty section then not only on this site but in any Ninty related discussion? Theres something wrong here, it should discuss in MS section.

If MS has a brain, they will snatch him up or at least partially fund a new studio for him. Itagaki seems to have a strong relationship with them.

I think they will. After all, they did snatch up Tsunoda just a few days after EA closed their Chicago studio. That was a good move, too.

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

This man might just be the most overrated (and arrogant) game designer in the world. I don't think there's enough room at another company for his ego, so he'll have to go found his own company: he could call it Blood 'N' Tits Ltd. (about as accurate a description of the man's lackluster talents as possible).
