Forums - Nintendo - Malstrom responds to Raide(ubisoft forum manager).

@Shameless :

What is funny is that Malstrom posted an article on your main subject a few weeks ago ...

ie : attacking his grammar and not looking at content ("not looking ... not looking ... oh, i am blind !")

Around the Network

Why dont you look at that that list? Its the truth Ubisoft has some kind of hate against nintendo, they cant release all taht shovelware on the Wii, while all the good games on HD consoles.

@mike: Rayman in fact is absolutely hardcore.

Pooh - havent played it.

Rayman Brain Games was rated EC (early childhood).  (The general platformers were admittedly larrger games.)

Pooh refers to Winnie the Pooh. Ubisoft has published a variety of Disney-based games.

My point is that  Ubisoft's history had casual and children's games long before the Wii -- in direct contrast to Raide's comments about the company always being hardcore.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

@mike, yes, Raide insulted Wii userbase.

Last gen casual games from Ubisoft were way better than this ones, Wii games are just cash-in's. Not a single game that deserves sales yet :S

I'm sorry you lost me:

So exactly what do gamers look like?

(If you post that same old pick of the guy with that huge gut in a couch with glasses and a potato chip on his bare skin belly as it peaks from underneath his grey wife beater with the 360 controller in his hand I will lawl.

'Real' gamer (note the emotionless and glazed over stare):

 Notice that he isn't playing on a High End television, where's the surround sound system and the stack of video games just hanging around.

I think that guys just a poor gamer, most 'real gamers' have two lcd monitors running in the back ground, one has VGC on the screen, the other WoW, and his LCD tv is playing CoD4... or is that just me?

 A whole monitor dedicated to me?  I support this idea.

 People without a grasp of the fundamental concepts of grammar will never write content that interests me.

@Shameless

Understand the prolific philosophy in post of these words: “Never say never again.”

Still, I think it's rather chickenshit of Malstrom to go after a forum manager like that... Sure, he said some stupid things. It's also extremely difficult to do PR over forums like that, doubly so when a shitstorm is erupting in the forums around you.

Go after the company, not the man. It's that kind of irresponsible blogging that really bothers me. If Malstrom had a problem with comments made, direct the retort at Ubisoft. Bloggers sometimes get this sense of entitlement to say whatever nasty shit comes to their mind about other people. It's unfair and meanspirited because there is no way for the attackee to counter their argument and the bloggers can keep rehashing the same shit over and over again unscathed.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

@rocketpig,

He did address his standing toward that company after the scrutinizing.

If I remember correctly it was something like: 'If this is how this company thinks then, they have some problems coming up...' He went on to explain why and referenced himself referencing outside sources.

I believe he did a good job as for the quality of that article.
