Quake Wars bombed, #20 on 360, and not even in Top 40 on PS3.

Looks like US is taking all of UK's Wii Fit supply.

Top Ten is nicely spread: 4 x Wii, 3 x 360, 3 x PS3.

Well, I'm sure MGS 4 will outsell GTA IV in its launch week, but I'm far from sure GTA IV will survive next week. Lego Indiana Jones launches on a lot of platforms and Nintendo could surprise by new WiiFit stock.

Astonishing result for 360 version of GRID in Italy. It sold 7 times more than Burnout Paradise in its debut. Looking forward what PS3 version will do next week.

Not published this week, and will not be published until the end of August. So, it will miss 10 weeks or something like that for the top 20. I hope the sell will continue to published the top 5.

Sorry, but in France, we are really not good for these charts.

France is the second largest market in Europe by quite a bit, but S.E.L.L. do a really terrible job of supplying the GfK French charts. Why does it take so long for them to post it, and why is it only the top five? Compared to what we get from ELSPA in the UK it is pathetic. We even get far better from much smaller markets like Sweden.

How do the game stores display their games in France? I haven't been to the UK in a while, but many stores have that week's top 40 displayed in order. I guess this is impossible for French retailers to do? Or do they just use their own sales figures and each chain has it's own top 10/20/30/40 etc?

It's really weird why French charts take so long, Chart-Track receive POS data daily from their tracked stores in UK, surely the same should be true for GfK France? It's certainly true for Netherlands, GfK supply the charts the very next day after the week ends.

 France, a country where everything is possible, ten weeks later than others. We do love our vacations, all year long.
