I'll bump this thread because after this week's numbers seem 3rd parties fears are already happening. he HD consoles are shrinking and Wii's sales are exploding. I wonder what'll happen on AAA titles that 3rd parties theyre workign on during the holidays? Even GTA IV cant stop the Wii.
end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out

I could see maybe using magic by pressing c and doing a motion, but how many motions do you want to map to the remote before they start getting close to over lapping? You going to cut down the number of quick commands you are going to use from 5 to 3? Or are you going to map some to the nun chuck (which I already said I had doubts about its ability, maybe it is better at sensing side to side and up and down better than any motion and forward). |

Nice that I don't have to care about wii third parties any more. I gave my wii away, for free. :D Have fun playing your marios.
to the O.P. They will keep making money and the world will keep spinning. As engines are built, the cost of producing a game takes a massive drop. They apparently didn't need the Wii when it was in it's worst shape, they won't need the Wii now.
