Nah, not really. But I am curious why it's getting so much hate right about now. I, like everyone on this site, have never played it - but it seems like the kind of game that would entertain its target audience. Give it some love

I frequent UK bargain sites and the Wii gets mentioned a lot. The people on there are generally 'casual' gamers so I get to see what they're hyped about. People always recommend Carnival Games when someone asks for suggestions because it's fun for the family. They also pre-order games (which surprised me) like Wii Fit and lots of them seem to have Beach Games pre-ordered too.

I have a copy of Carnival Games.

It's a very primitive implementation of motion control.

It doesn't have the depth of Wii Sports. There is a skee-ball game that reminds me of Wii Bowling, but you can't shoot diagonal, and you can't put spin on the ball. All it senses is acceleration.

We played it for a couple days (there weren't many games back then) and haven't touched it since.  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

For a family game there are much better options.  Boom Blox, We Ski,  Wario, Wii Sports, etc.

Urgh,I played this abomination briefly at my mates house before we went to the pub. Carnival games should be banned for lack of quality.

The title sounds like it's a suicide threat or something. Lol

It's exactly what you would think it is. It's minigames at a carnival. If that doesn't sound fun then don't guy it.

oh well, i guess minigames are the trend for 'casual games' right now...

People who buy this should just buy warioware: Smooth moves instead. At least that game is good.
