Oh sure; nothing wrong with a finely rendered extreme close up of an elderly, mustachioed gentleman for an action war thriller.

For anyone not familiar with the series, the character or the hype, that cover is not going to sell any copies at all. Fortunately, almost everyone buying this game is already familiar with the series and Solid Snake.

I pre-bought the LE version with Yoji Shinkawa art instead.

Maybe he is tired from pushing Metal Gear Solid 4 games to the max, or hearing from Sony execs that MGS4 better sell gangbusters. Maybe he needs drugs to unlock his mind. He could be cynical and hate everyone, or he could've been traumatized as a child and never smiles. He could be imitating Squall from FF VIII who barely smiled.
