How many Mario Parties have you played? There are quite a lot of difference from 3 to 6 (I have 1,3 and 6), and I'm certain that there's an as big one up to 8.

There has become a lot less focus on the board (at least as far as I can see) from 1 to 6, and that should have kept going, so a mainly mini-game mode would be awesome.

PS: Mario Party is an awesome franchise, don't pre-judge it.

yeah, the mini-games are completely different in each one. I'd like a compilation mario party that takes all the best ones from each game. Perhaps a fan vote of the best 10 from each game or something...one can dream.

Imagine if they made an "Ultimate Mario Party" featuring all the mini-games and all the courses from the previous versions plus new games and boards. That would be so cool (but I know it won't ever happen).

 Hahah!  I completely agree!  I want bumper balls to be in every Mario Party.  It needs to be the one required mini game for every Mario Party

Hum...bumper balls could use the "Morter and Pestle" stance from Warioware...in other words, motion control with the Wiimote pointed up. Might be less accurate though.

the only reason people think that mario party is a long series is because the numbering. if each game had a seperate title instead of MP 1,2,3 etc, then you guys wouldnt be complaining. for example the zelda series has had almost as many games(excluding gameboy games) but nobody notices because it doesnt go; zelda 1,2,3,4,5.

and the reason people complain that nintendo drags on franchises more than sony or microsoft is because they have had a longer chance to. pretty much thats what console sales are. most of the biggest titles of the last year were all sequels. i.e. BRAWL, MKWII, GTA4, HALO3, GOW2, FABLE2, MGS4, GH3, GH4, COD4,COD5. now of course there are some new franchises such as haze, rock band, UDF but those are not even close to being as big as the other franchises.
