I got it Wednesday, played it the first time Thursday, and have gone from 211.9 pounds, to 207.2.
Lost 4.7 pounds in 4 days.... not bad!

To be fair, I was doing nothing before, and the first 5 pounds or so is all water weight when you start a new exercise program, but the fact that I have lost that water weight, means it's working.
That's pretty awesome^^ so far I've gained a little, over three days, but I kinda blame myself on that one. along with having pizza, I weighed at different times all three days^^; I'm hoping to do better about that tomorrow.
Edit: oh, I'm happy with it though :3 It makes me really sore, but in the good way, yeah muscles :3 woo.
The Mother 3 Fan Translation is done! Everyone go get it right now! (Mother3.fobby.net)

That explains why Japan's sales have been down, recently. They've been playing Wii Fit so much, that they just disappear. And the fat just melts away.
I'm sorry. I'll try to make more relevant post from now on. I promise. Cross my fingers and hope to die.
wow, great, thats some impressive loss
I really need wii fit now, I can't believe I forgot to pre order :(

That seems... abnormal.
I mean from what i've seen of it, it really does offer a lot more exercise benefits thene I thought... but nearly 5 pounds in 4 days is insane.

Depends on when you weigh yourself, your current level of physical activity, and several other factors.
If you're relatively sedentary and you weigh yourself after a large meal, it's quite possible "lose" that kind of weight partially from the several change of daily routine and partially from the fact that weighing after a meal (or even in the evening) can give you a slightly inflated weight.

It's not for me. I have gained and loosed weight a few times in my life, and when I first start, I always loose the first 5 pounds real fast (water weight). The trend will slow considerably.
I will post my results after a month, and let you all know how it goes :)
I thought the water weight that was lost from exercising was mostly from extracellular fluid in adipose tissue. Which I think varies from 15-20 lbs in men and 20-25 lbs in women(ZOMG! women have boobies, j/k) and that the total body water % varies from 45% to 80% water. A good scale should tell you how much was water and it should be pretty easy to tell, because your equilibrium would be way off. Either way, it's not healthy to lose a lot of water too quickly. If you're losing that kind of water you should replenish it, after you exercise. I seriously doubt more than 3/4 of that is from water(probably more like 25-50%), unless you're playing at different times of day or you play Wii Fit in a sauna.
