its just a rumor, remember, we are still waiting for the Dragonball Z and Evangelion movie which is supposedly rumor 5 years ago now THIS... Hey! lets just add the Battle Royale english adaptation for american market. Even gametrailers says the movie had been canned after it passes to anbother director to the next.

I don't think metroid would translate well to film. The whole "alone on a planet" would just be boring on film.

Michael Bay makes movies for people with ADD. His movies are famous for excess, and not in a good way. 75 cuts a second. 9723 explosions a minute. Big dramatic camera swoops and spins for absolutely no reason. I will give him one thing. He does know how to blow up things extremely well. Please don't let him ruin Metroid. If it's to be ruined, then hand it over to Uwe Boll. His movies are so bad that they're funny. He's starting to gain a cult status. Anyone see House of the Dead? Good times.
