I want! I want!
EDIT: I blame Wii Fit.
Ugh god, what an awful choice to direct it. Such an atrocious director. His editing style is seizure inducing, the action is completely incomprehensible (no sense of visual rhythm to it. Just random crap flying every which way), and the characters are beyond wooden and incredibly shallow. Sure, he's not Uwe Boll, but he ain't much better. If this is true expect the movie to suck
My consoles and the fates they suffered:
Atari 7800 (Sold), Intellivision (Thrown out), Gameboy (Lost), Super Nintendo (Stolen), Super Nintendo (2nd copy) (Thrown out by mother), Nintendo 64 (Still own), Super Nintendo (3rd copy) (Still own), Wii (Sold)

I wonder why any company would let Hollywood destroy their valueable franchise by making a movie out of it ... Hollywood can't even produce their own ideas into competent movies, tend to destroy books and television shows, and have an awful track record for videogame movies. Why would you want Hollywood to rape a story you enjoy, then murder it and crap on the dead body?

Don't worry--it comes with the territory of being a teenager. A lot of the movies I liked when I was 13-16 I look back on and shudder. (Hook! The Last Action Hero! Star Wars! Oh crap, what'd I say, I'm about to get lynched....)
People's tastes expand as they grow older. And a lot of the movies you list are indeed good--Spider-Man, X-Men, some Disney movies. Good stuff. Pre-Pocahontas Disney films are usually fine films, and Pixar has yet to make a bad film.
@Raichu: Yes, Bay did Transformers, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Island, The Rock and both Bad Boys movies. Of those, only The Rock is even OK. The rest is a stain on the medium in which I want to make my living.

First of all, that picture is a cosplay. Its fanmade. This is strictly a rumor and almost completely and utterly false.

How do you hate the Star Wars movies.... how?
And the bolded ones by bay were good imo.

Also, did the guy who wrote this article really say that Hollywood focused on chick flicks in the 1970s? The greatest decade for Hollywood movies in history, where we saw studios films like The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, Chinatown, Apocalypse Now, Taxi Driver, Jaws, The Conversation, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dog Day Afternoon, Deliverance and Alien (among countless others) was known for chick flicks? Yeesh.
