I don't see any problems with what you have outlined. It all sounds good to me. It will make sharing codes/tags much easier, so it's thumbs-up with me.

Maybe there could be a checkbox for only allowing people on your friendlist to send a request? You may have mentioned this in your post, if so just ignore this. :)

PSP does not really have its own codes, sometimes they are game specific, but the more recent ones tie in with a general PSN code, which is also tied to the PS3 is many cases. So if i were to play certain PSP games online, I would use my PS3 online tag to play

A great idea that seems very good as it is in the spec. I cannot wait to try it out.

Also many us have already swapped friend codes/psn ids . Will there be an easy way to add those we already have.
