Why is it that the Nintendo forum has 3 FOUR Mario Kart Wii stickies that can't even make it to 30 pages combined yet the 157 page Super Smash Bros. Brawl thread remains unstickied?

why sticky something if everyone is going to post in it and read it constantly?

^well that was a good reason a long time ago when it was constantly on the front page.

Other than important FAQs, what's the point of stickying something that people aren't going to post in and read constantly?

I think there are too many stickies on the forum. Like half the topics on the page is stickies!

One second. The Leagues are relativly new, and people use it and post in it regulary ;) Hell we europeans race 2 times a week, the american league finally get some active admins. It is not like their were dead.

And I asked for sticky for the European league, so it is relativly on the top. Without a little advertisment, it wouldn't have come so far.

Trick question:

What is with the upcoming Brawl league (O yes, I am planning one). Should that then be stickied or not?

I think that the leagues should be sticky. Just like FAQ and that kind of stuff.
Basically if you have a "normal" thread, it doesn't need a sticky, but then again, if we have a thread for a high profile game that gets a lot of discussion going, it should have a sticky as long as we have active discussion going (to prevent needless threads), but as soon as interest goes down enough, the thread should have the sticky taken off. Edit: Actually, now to think of it, we should have own forum for leagues/competitions.
