Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo announces E3 conference timing

Ah, good ol' Kodak Theater.

I just recently (for the heck of it) went back and watched Nintendo's event two years ago. What a day that was.

July will be one great month. First off, The Dark Knight, then E3 goodness. Can't wait.

*does the happy dance*

Well nitnendo will have the most revealing E3 this year I predict as they haven't said anything thus far about their holiday lineup.

Roadshow only means one thing...new games that use new controllers that need nintendo employees to explain why they are fun.

I think Nintendo will get all the attention at this years' E3

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

 I admit it, I laughed.

Although you're probably right. Whatever Nintendo's new DS social game is going to be will probably feature prominently at E3, and like Wii Fit it'll probably take some time for the traditional gamer to wrap his head around it.

@trestres: I wouldn't say ALL but a good chunk yes. A lot of people will be waiting to hear what the Wii and DS has in store for them.

I really don't think it'd be a good time to announce a new DS replacement. They can easily extend it's life a few more years by continuously releasing good games for it. So hopefully we get a huge list of great games for the DS and no new hardware announcement to replace it.

I hate the dry spells during console/handheld swaps.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

''Hadouken!''

I will really love to see the new games from Nintendo on E3... almost sure a New Zelda is going to be announced.

PST is Pacific Standard Time (the time zone for the west coast of USA)

BST is British Summer Time which is the time now in the UK, we have a daylight savings thing going at the moment.

BST = GMT+1 (GMT is Greenich Mean Time)
