Yeah it'll have a touchscreen alright. Probably double screens as well. Other than that, maybe motion/tilt controls, to go after the Wii crowd. :p

Motion controls would be a bad idea for a handheld system. Tilt ... maybe. Probably not worth it though.

Well some of that was a "little" bit off base :D but some of it not so much, realistically I'd like to see,

Oled Screen. Srsly.

A Mini-Cell, wouldn't be too hard, and Sony's been pushing the shit out of reducing the cost of that chip :P I have a feeling it would make "scaling down" engines alot easier too in terms of PSP developement.

Blue-tooth would be a godsend, it would immediately make the skype feature useful, comunications while playing an online game would be stellar, using my PSP as a controller would be tits and then some :D, PSP > PS3 communication like never before ^^ 

 

Oh thank god. The main problem I had was the 2gb of ram. That still seems a little bit over the top, and might be even more costly than home consoles are  , depending on when it's released. It sounds do able , but not pratical.

:D The only costly things I could see in that would be the Oled Screen, the Ram, and the chip XD and in reality it really doesn't NEED that much ram, I just think it would help tie all the multi-media together better :P The bluetooth would be really cheap to add, and like I said we'd definitely have to see on that cell chip :D But I think that would make engine work much easier since it's what everyone's currently doing anyway xD and if they went with Cell tech on the PS4 they'd have that ease of use pretty much on lockdown :P

Yeah, but I could see that at around 250-300 dollars, way more than hanhelds have been before the psp. I think sony will be smart and not do another ps3, where nobody wants to spend $300 dollars on a handheld.

 I would say decrese the ram to 350mb, and make the cell processor about 500mhz with only 3 spus. That would probably decrease the price to around $200.

Instead of a psp2, make a psp1.5. Just up the power a touch, not that it needs much, the cut scenes in Crisis Core are jaw dropping and the in game movies are great also. I don't know if the worlds aren't as detailed because of power or space or load times, but make the worlds look as good as the character models do. I would prefer them to put games on their memory sticks (don't know why they didn't do this to begin with) to help with load times and battery life, but if they want backwards compatibility they would need to stick with a modified umd. Other than that, standard stuff like second analog stick (and better than the one the original has), clam shell design to protect the screen, making it a touch wider would be nice also.
