I also love the new electricity/fire/ice tools you can add to items in-game now.

This game is literally going to suck hundreds of hours of my life away...

Seriously, this game is just so cool. The more I hear about it, the more excited I get.

October can't come fast enough.

@Doktor85: I can't imagine any size limit. They don't care how much space you take up on your own hard drive, and I'd assume there's some kind of filter for searching where you can select size, category, etc...

Yeah, DEFINITELY my first day-one purchase for PS3 This is the one game I envied Playstation-owners for even when I completely despised the system.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Sound good, I wonder how many can sell

I think this is the first time they've mentioned water. I thought it was a given until I realized how hard it would be to implement (maybe not in a basic way, but in a way that matches up to the near-photorealistic style and physics of the game's solid objects). So hell yeah, I want water, but I don't want them to delay the game over it. Seems like more the kind of thing to focus on for LBP2. Or downloadable content? I'd pay for that.

The bit about assigning enemy AI is interesting too... seems like this game is going to be serious about truly customizable levels. My one fear was that they would dumb down the level editor too much in order to appeal to the casual crowd, but it sounds like they won't do that. Everything else will be very hard to get wrong if it works the way they've shown it so far.

I haven't been this excited for a game since... well, Fable, and before that Black & White. What is it with these Lionhead guys? (Of course, those were both disappointments, but they promised a lot of lofty concepts that they couldn't live up to. With LBP, the key to its charm is its simplicity, and it's all up there on the screen already).

All I need now is projectiles or a way to put a weapon on sackboys hands (to recreate some old school favorites) and finally give me a way to control the physics somewhat (less gravity, more gravity, etc...)

I don't know about small handheld weapons, but it should be pretty easy to create something like a cannon that you push around or mount on a tank. All it would take is a piston mechanism or a spring combined with a notched wheel (look at some toys for design inspirations). What you can do with those weapons is another question... I don't know whether or not it's possible to "kill" enemies, but at the very least you should be able to knock them over/into a pit.

I'm right there with you. This new stuff sounds great, and I can't wait to try it out! I just hope it doesn't interphere too much with my work. =)

I get more excited about this game everytime I hear about it.

Currently Playing:  Saints Row 2 | Battlefield 2 | Company of Heroes

Recently Beaten: Gears of War | Super Mario Galaxy | Darwinia | MGS4 | Sam and Max Ep. 4, Portal | Mirror's Edge | Uncharted | Mass Effect

Looking Forward to: Alan Wake | Splinter Cell : Conviction | The Last Guardian | Batman: Arkham Asylum | SMG2 | Mass Effect 2 |

Sounds like this is going to be something good that you will be able to put a lot of hours into. It will be good making your own levels, and sharing them with friends and other people. There's a lot of options it looks like. And who doesn't want to make their own video game levels :D I know I want to.
