Forums - Nintendo - LucasArts really want you to buy Wii version of Star Wars! Would you?

I think I'm going to get this game...a bunch of my friends are excited about the multiplayer...and as long as everyone's having fun who cares.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

And as I said don't be worried about sales of this game on Wii. One of the things about being a well known property, such as Star Wars is usually it sales largely to a casual base as well. Although this game is a hardcore game, brand will allow casual games to buy it as well, especially with the user friendly interface that the Wii offers. I mean this title could easily be the biggest seller of all the versions on the Wii. I'm thinking triple platinum.

Definitely getting this on the Wii the first week it comes out!

Same already got it preordered.

Of course a Star Wars game on the Wii will sell. I mean look at Lego Star Wars haha. This is what the hardcore base has been wanting for a long time now. I have a feeling it'll pull a Guitar Hero on Wii. Not open as big as the other versions but have huge legs like GH3.

I know I'm buying it day one. I really could care less that I could get it on 360 and have better physics and graphics. That excitement will last me all but one glance.

Are you saying that this title will be supply constrained on Wii? Because that's pretty much the only reason GH3 on Wii didn't beat Xbox360 and PS3 from the start.

Did I use the word supply constrained? No. So don't assume.

 Then I don't understand your comparison. Limited supplies of the Wii guitar are the main reason why GH3 on Wii came out of the gate slow and supply catching up to pent-up demand is why it has long legs. Why would this title "pull a Guitar Hero" when the conditions are fundamentally different?

Now seriously, did you ever heard about kilo binarys???

K = Kelvin

k = kilo = 1000

ki = kilo binary = 2^10 = 1024

 Alright don't pull that shit with me you know what I mean.  I mean that it'll have a medium launch compared to the others and then outdo them in the long run.  Just like GH3 is doing.  The supply constrained may have caused it but I don't give a shit about it cause it's not what I'm comparing.  I'm comparing a trend.  What caused the trend I could care less.

640x480? That's not even 16:9, are they saying the game doesn't support widescreen?

I don't  know about whether this game supports widescreen or not, but the Wii's implementation of 16:9 isn't 'true' widescreen.

The Wii always renders a 4:3 image but when it is set to widescreen mode, the GPU simply modifies the geometry (squishing it) so that when it hits your TV it is stretched so that it appears as a correct, 16:9, image.

So does this mean its not an actual ps2 port?
