Forums - Gaming - Old school or new school

:P i like / play both ...

provived you consider SNES / PS1 old-school ...

I must say though i consider very important ... not realism (which is over-rated) but good art style -- look at how awsome games like Rachet and Clank, Okami, Call of Duty4, No More Heroes, Super Mario Galaxy look. It is a pity though far too many HD games are too dark ... ( come on R* - Niko needs a flashlight for some parts of GTAIV ...)

Both.

old school

reason 8/10 games released nowdays are either a FPS or sport game.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Mostly new school , because their difficulty level is much better for me and the storyline of a game can be told in a much more cinematic way :D

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

That's like asking a parent who their favorite child is.

I like both, old school always provides a good quick gameplay fix, new school on the other hand has led to gaming experiences WAY more immersive than anything from back in the day, Oblivion, Mass Effect and Dead Rising come to mind.
