 Play super metroid. Download it on the virtual console. My favorite snes game.

 Oh, I goddamn hated that sucker, it actually made me put the game back on the shelf for 2-3 months before I went back to it and beat the game. Ridley is also hard as hell.

I saw some good strategies on gamefaqs, like using the wavebuster on Ridley's ground mode. 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

You can be happy that you HAVE sales figures (and those for MP are not too shabby imo). I probably won´t ever get to know how many copies some of my most favourite games, e.g. Monkey Island 1&2, sold.

By the way: The wish for even better Nintendo sales seems a bit decadent these days

 I beat Metroid Prime with around 70% Completion. The part that bothered me was all the backtracking for the weapons they already let me get used to in the introduction to the game. I also didn't like the path leading to (the) Metroid Prime at the end. I couldn't even kill the Metroids!

Not being able to beat the 1st part is pretty sad dude, I'm not going to lie. Those Metroids scared the life out of me sometimes. You don't know how many times I yanked my Wavebird back, all shook up because a Metroid latched to my visor.

 I know. I hate when metroids come out of nowhere and latch onto your face. I would love  a metroid II 3d remake. The game is crawling with metroids. I liked the different evolutionary stages too.

No, not really. We all know MP3 is just a crappy version of Halo 3 with less features and lower resolution.

Well it's been summed up already. It doesn't fit neatly into a group so that FPS fans or adventure fans (if those even exist anymore) care too much about it. It's alot harder than most games these days (except 3 was pretty easy on the default difficulty level), ect ect. Great series, and sells well enough. Fire Emblem deserves more sales too.

Fire Emblem is an SRPG which is a niche genre so FE is unlikely to jump higher in sales unless the interest in SRPGs significantly increases to appeal to the mainstream
