I have too many mixed feelings about that vid.
It felt like a cheesy clip episode of some cartoons, where they take footage from old eps and staple 5% new stuff to explain why they're doing this.
Then again, Bowser was holding a trophy gun. I guess all the baddies get trophy guns?
There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

Bowser attacking Diddy AND Fox, we've only seen him confront Diddy until now
Link in Norfair
MetaKnight with IceClimbers on some mountain stage
Underground train
Samus in some ruins
Yoshi and Link in some weird stage
Lucas using baseball move
Some Castle hallway (and some other levels i can't remember O_o)
Ike all on his own xD

We've already seen all those characters and most of the levels.
Most of the footage is recognizeable from the gameplay/videos we've already been shown.

Words, show me videos, having seen the characters, and stages in completely different instances does not apply. This was an SSE video.
When did we find out MetaKnight and IC pair up? Lucas' baseball bat move? Link in Norfair? Bowser confronting Fox?

Actually, a lot of the footage is totally new. Someof it is from characters we knew were there, but gameplay footage we haven't seen none the less.
