I think the most insanely awesome move Nintendo could make would be to make Subspace emissary into a completely separate game series after brawl. Turn it into a kingdom hearts type deal (not gameplay, but concept rather) where there is an entire universe based on the crossover with it's own lore and ongoing story. Throw in a few original characters, a deep back story, it would sell millions every time a new chapter came out be it on wii, DS, or future Nintendo consoles.
